About Rex Hungerford

I started as an electrician in 1995.  Around 2009 I fell back in love with audio.  I have been evolving a wonderful system designed around SET Amps and Open Baffle with Horn speakers.  Owning audio sent me down a rabbit hole to optimize my electrical power.  Being an electrician I was able to apply methods and techniques others could not try.  That led me to plug into my community, create new friends and grow on forum chatter. Those relationships presented me with a variety of electrical infrastructure to assess and optimize.

One of those individuals turned into a friend.  We used his hyper-sensitive Dagostino/Wilson system to sus out much finer details of performance enhancement.  Wiring methodology, conductor optimization, grounding.  As a founding member of Audio-Ultra, doors to access industry professionals were opened.  Professionals who do have engineering degrees that time and time again validated the processes I am employing are correct.  And suggestions for minor tweaks by these engineers crafted even better results as time went on. Techniques that achieve such positive results, additional power products such as filters and irrationally expensive power cables become less significant in their performance gains
